Fire
Detection & Alarm systems need to be serviced regularly to
ensure greater reliability.
The agreement should specify the method of liaison to provide
access to the premises. The name and the contact details of the
servicing organization should be promintely displayed at the control
and indicating equipment.
A Service agreement should be made on completion of the contract
regardless of wether the premises is occupied or not. In any case
an agreement should be made to carry out repairs within 24 hours
of the fault being reported.
